On the basis of literature sources, brief characteristics of suborders, families and genera are given, and the problems of taxonomy and nomenclature of individual species and basic information on the distribution of taxa found in the study area are discussed. Analysis of the existing stream of literary information on dragonflies indicates that there are still problems, the solution of which requires close attention.
