Summary:A description of the amphibian fauna, associated with three localities in the dry forest and wetlands in the Department of Sucre, Colombia. Aspects of the natural history of the species recorded and related the degree of similarity with other previously described faunas in the Caribbean region are described. From surveys conducted species considered typical of wet zones were reported and extending the known distributions for various species considered exclusive to the Andean foothills and lowlands of the Pacific.
