Description
Summary:Purpose: This study aims to analyze the readiness factors and dimensions affecting the use of m-health applications in Indonesia from the users' perspective. In addition, this study could be used as reference for the m-health developers to improve their existing applications. Method: This research used a quantitative approach. A total of 624 respondents who have utilized m-health filled out the online questionnaire. The data were collected, analyzed, and processed by covariance-based structural equation modelling methods using AMOS 21.0 tools. Results: The most influential dimensions in m -health readiness are technological readiness (i.e., ease of use and affordability) and motivational readiness (i.e., trust, attitude, and perceived usefulness). Conclusions: Understanding the users’ perspective on the readiness factors can help m-health service providers to focus more on improving services in accordance with the readiness factors of users to meet user needs and increase user readiness in m-health applications.
