For that, governments and international organizations increasingly see the evaluation of science, technology and innovation as an important agenda for their policy and action. This article goes to employ document study method to recognize the role of scientometrics indicators in international STI manuals. Furthermore, conduct a comparison study to identify similarities and differences of three international set of indicators is used by Institute for Scientific Information (ISI), Oslo and Frascati Manuals of STI assessment. Findings indicates that in all of aforementioned manuals bibliometric indicators have an important role to play. Discussions of such findings here in this article help Library and information science experts conduct more deep studies at this respect.
