| Summary: | The purpose of publishing - to substantiate and discover the peculiarities of design activity of the future teachers of geography and life safety as one of the current and future directions of higher education. We consider the theoretical and methodological aspects of the project work of the teacher as a special pedagogical phenomenon is widespread in the modern socio-cultural conditions. It was determined that the greatest potential for the development of the project activity of the future teachers of geography and life safety has integrated clinical practice, which is a special form of organization of the competence-oriented educational process in higher teacher education. Formulated and disclosed attributive characteristics of design activity of the future teachers of geography and life safety: the novelty and uniqueness of the design of the product; limitations and completeness; cyclical and progressive . Identified and justified pedagogical benefits of project activities of the future teachers of geography and life safety in the conditions of an integrated clinical practice both from the standpoint of students, and from the standpoint of the educational organization. Process-technological aspects of the project activity of the future teachers of geography and life safety are disclosed from the standpoint of the didactic cycle.
