El presente trabajo es parte de la Tesis doctoral en Arquitectura: "Arquitectura, Industria y Progreso. Las bodegas Vitivinícolas de Mendoza en el Centenario"<A HREF="#nota1">1</A>. Presenta una síntesis de las transformaciones operadas en la arquitectura del vino a partir de la Revolución Vitivinícola (1885-1910)<A HREF="#nota2">2</A>. El estudio se propone como objetivo contribuir a esclarecer y a identificar los valores de este patrimonio arquitectónico en Mendoza, a fin de dar bases que sirvan para definir criterios útiles en la toma de decisiones, que apunten a su preservación y puesta en valor. Asimismo revitalizar la memoria en torno a la vitivinicultura y a los testimonios que la caracterizan y le dan identidad.<br>This work is part of a doctoral thesis presented by Liliana B. Girini to the Universidad de Mendoza in the subject of "Architecture, Industry and Progress. The Wineries of Mendoza in the Centenary". It presents a synthesis of the transformations on wine architecture since the so called "Wine Revolution" (1885 ­ 1910). The purpose of the study is to contribute to the clarification and identification of the values of this particular architectural patrimony of the province of Mendoza in order to establish the bases for the definition of criterion for the decision making regarding the preservation and revaluation of such patrimony. In addition, this study seeks to promote the collective memory regarding the viticulture as well as the testimonies that characterise and brings identity to it.
