On the pattern millers, boring and drilling are performed apart from the customary milling. Considering the design features and geometrics of the machining tool, linear and point sources are accepted as an acoustic radiator model. The modal test technology is based on the application of the differential equations of the bending vibrations of the distributed systems and A. N. Krylov’s functions.
