Summary:Abstract:: Establishing a national park system in China is one of the key tasks of promoting an ecological civilization. Based on the character and goals of China’s national parks, the characteristics of selected ecological regions and the value perception of natural and cultural resources with Chinese characteristics, this paper analyzes the framework of resource protection, including: (1) paying attention to the top-level design and improving the standards and regulations; (2) establishing a database for the information of resources and environment of national parks and supporting the researches on protection and effective management decision-making; (3) establishing the dynamic monitoring system for resources of national parks, scientifically developing a planning system and conducting the partitioned management and refined management; (4) establishing a negative list system for the environment and resource utilization of national parks and strengthening the inspection of law enforcement, and the internal and external supervision; (5) encouraging public participation and promoting cooperation and communication of stakeholders and avoiding or alleviating the natural disturbances and external threats.
