All approaches to the formation of the financial strategy of an enterprise in the hotel industry are based on financial models. The article presents the methodology for calculating the indicators of the matrix of financial strategy by Franshon and Romane and the matrix of the stages of financial development elaborated based on the three-factor DuPont model, which will allow to assess the financial aspect of the enterprise as a whole, i.e., to understand what is happening at the top of the pyramid of a huge number of separate financial parameters. Using the results of the study, there built a combined matrix of the financial strategy for development of an enterprise in the hotel industry, which is a constructive tool for efficient management of the resource potential of an enterprise in the hotel industry, since it allows to carry out integral assessment of the financial sustainability of the enterprise and the depth of the financial crisis, take into account the objectives of the functioning and the results of the activity on the key parameters — liquidity, financial sustainability and profitability.
