The different sections are a journey throughout the history of the culture and special education. It starts in Ancient mythological culture, where the attitude of Greece and Rome are approached, then following, the same topic is studied in the Middle Ages, in the Renaissance, in the Enlightment and in the contemporary culture. The article ends with an analysis of the present trends in the field of Special Education
