Zusammenfassung Offenbar waren Öffentliche Bibliotheken im DACH-Raum nicht auf eine Katastrophen wie die COVID-19 Pandemie vorbereitet. Zu vermuten ist, dass dies auch für andere mögliche Katastrophen gelten wird. Dabei sollte eine Vorbereitung auf solche Ereignisse zum professionellen bibliothekarischen Handeln gehören. Zumeist auf der Erfahrung anderer Katastrophen basierend existiert eine ganze Breite von Literatur zu Möglichkeiten solcher Planung, die auch für Öffentliche Bibliotheken relevant ist. Dieser Artikel gibt eine Übersicht zu dieser Literatur der letzten 20 Jahre. It can be assumed that this will also apply to other possible disasters. Preparation for such events should be part of professional work of libraries. Mostly based on the experience of other catastrophes, there is a wide range of literature on the possibilities of such planning, which could also be utilised by public libraries.
