Summary:The review of native and foreign researchers’ works on the issue of the emotional burnout, the analysis of scientific sources from the theoretical and methodological and applied aspects of problematics are done in the article. The syndrome of the «emotional burnout» is analyzed, basic symptoms and factors that result in his origin are considered. The reasons and symptomatology of the emotional burnout of pharmaceutical workers, the essence and specifics of psychological aspects of their professional activities are defined; their personality and communicative qualities and psychological characteristics are described, they help in-process and such that prevent their to professional activities. The level of the «emotional burnout» is studied among pharmacists-interns. It is found out, that pharmaceutical workers are the special category of professionals having a high risk to acquire the emotional burnout, through the specifics of the professional activities. It is shown that communication with sick people, aggravation of sense of responsibility, influence of the stress factors lead to the appearing so-called syndrome of «professional burnout», that negatively influences not only on officiency, but also on whole man’s health. During the research of the «emotional burnout» syndrome, it was distinguished important, to our opinion, factors that could influence the level of its development: state of health, activity, mood, anxiety, depression, neuroticism. The study showed that the emotional component of mental health of most pharmacists-interns was characterized by relative firmness, good feeling, high activity, general posi- tive background of mood, measurable anxiety, confidence in themselves, social courage. It is established that the emotional burnout threatens almost one third of pharmacists-interns.
