EROSION OF CATHODE OF EDDY-CURRENT FIRE DETECTOR
This article describes the processes causing erosion of cathode of eddy-current fire detector in the field of the negative corona discharge. Photomicrographs of cathodes exposed to erosion are included. Factors affecting the erosion process are established.
