Summary:In view of the development model adopted by Algeria after independence, which is based on industrialization and heavy industries, in addition to the type of place on which its development projects were established, which were in all coastal areas, it proved its lack of respect for the lowest standards of environmental protection. To give priority to the environmental aspect, and to correct failures through the enactment of laws and procedures that would reduce the environmental pollution resulting from development projects. It also established technical bodies specialized in the field of environmental protection that find solutions to environmental problems and environmental protection by House laws and decrees that it deems necessary to do so.
