The printmaking processes are extremely characteristic of this condition. They are considered as exercises that stimulate principally working abilities and what is forgotten is perhaps their greatest virtue: the stimulation of rational thinking, as students have to question what they are doing because they do not have an immediate response. Printmaking offer a very wide range of processes which can be used in the primary education. These teaches students observation, analysis and projectation but in many cases have not been programmed, in spite of their benefits in the training of the student, due to the toxicity of many of the materials used. This handicap has now disappeared as the industry has developed a large number of alternatives with non-toxic processes, which permit risk-free use. The printmaking creative activities are a great opportunity to encourage the use of reflection and the logic by students. If we are aware of its complexity and we articulate it as something alive, this will allow us to introduce students using reasoning and observation as working tools.http://revistas.ucm.es/index.php/ARIS/article/view/6690Educación artísticagrabado y estampación
