Description
Summary:This is a case report of a two years old girl that presented to us with an abdominal mass diagnosed on biopsy as Yolk sac tumor with elevated with Alpha fetoprotein. She received chemotherapy (3 cycles) then underwent definitive resection with en-bloc resection of the tumor, involved ileum and abdominal wall. Intraoperative findings confirmed that it was an extra-gonadal tumor. The patient did well postoperatively and received the fourth cycle of chemotherapy postoperatively and was committed for close observation.
