Summary: | In 1916, by introducing the book “General and Industrial Management", Henri Fayol established the foundation for cross-departmental approach in quality management system (QMS). This principle has been applied in most QMS all over the world. In 2000, the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) established the principle of process approach to improve the validity and efficiency of QMS. ISO 9001:2015wasofficially published on 15 September 2015 and changed the content of process approach which was promoted by ISO 9001:2000 and ISO 9001:2008. This paper addresses essential changes in the principle of process approach in compliance with ISO 9001:2015 to enhance the awareness and suggest some tools that can be used for successful implementation of QMS in Vietnam. |
