It is shown that despite the fact that the discipline “Fundamentals of Automation and Telemechanics” belongs to the core courses of the educational program, for the sustainable development of the competencies of students of various specializations, it should have a different content. An exemplary discipline content for various specializations is proposed. The formed competences are presented.
