Description
Summary:Here, we propose an examination of the « reading » of mass media by integrating an aesthetic point of view which, taken from the works of Jacques Derrida and Jean-Luc Nancy, envisages a type of relation to the other founded on « spectrality » and no longer on a dialectic of the same and the other. By reintroducing rhapsody, from the figure of Ion, the aesthetic experience in mass media readings, we propose to use a non radical hermeneutic approach to describe it. The interest in this approach is to avoid the alternating between manipulation and absolute freedom of the reader on the one hand, and on the other, to approach aesthetic mediation in all of its complexity.
