Summary:A 45-year-old, obese and premenopausal female presented with abnormal uterine bleeding. On histopathological examination and immunohistochemistry, synchronous serous carcinoma of the endometrium and bilateral ovaries was diagnosed. There is paucity of literature on the occurrence of synchronous serous carcinoma of the endometrium and bilateral ovaries. It is important to differentiate independent primary tumours from metastasis because each carries a different prognosis and the clinical management also differs.
