In Brazil, the most pathogenic etiologic agent this disease is Trypanosoma vivax. The clinical symptoms developed by bovine are essential nonspecific including anemia, fever, lethargy, progressive loss of weight, neurological, instance in sight among others. The diagnosis can be performed by parasitological, serological and molecular methods that show variations in the sensitivity and specificity of the tests.
