The magazine as the whole shows, explicitly, the interest of Karr to increase women’s culture, in fact musical repertoire is no stranger to this goal: it can be seen several intentions of Carmen Karr such as the promotion of female authorship, creating a link between female authors and female interpreters and the translation in music of a particular cultural thought.
