Summary:The present text wonders about the way in which the Supreme Meeting of Caracas was organized, it became into the irst form of governmental autonomy and into an independence expression. Though these Meetings were trying to defend the rights of Fernando VII, in the practice they turned into the irst mechanism of political expression of the creoles, since later they transformed in autonomous meetings of government that gradually proclaimed the independence and consolidated the irst constitutional projects.
