The problem of particular complexity is the protection of plant introducents from pests. The representatives of the Coccinea suborder are found in the Far North exclusively in greenhouses. Monitoring of a phytosanitary condition of Polar-Alpine Botanical Garden plant collection fund revealed the most stable pest species in relation to local conditions and methods used to fight against species of the Coccinea suborder. Сomposition of forage plants is defined and species of plant-reserves, on which pest population is formed, are selected.
