Summary:Tour operators are the most important legal form of business entities in the field of tourism. The choice of the legal form depends on their competitive advantages within given circumstances. Apart from entrepreneurs, limited liability companies make the dominant legal form of business enterprises. They have a growing tendency even in tourism. There are two preconditions for choosing the proper legal form of a tour operator, for its legal and successful operation and conducting certain juristic transactions, through signing contracts for providing touristic services. First, one should have the proper knowledge of basic constitutions of the Law of Economic Enterprises and second, one should know how to use juristic logic of undertaking touristic activities according to the Law of Tourism. This paper analyses the basic issues in the field of limited liability companies statutory system, having in mind its basic characteristics and comparative advantages of this legal form, as an organizational form of a tour operator. Numerous methods are used in the paper, starting with generalization and abstraction, to comparative methods and analysis, and traditional juristic methods – dogmatic, normative, and axiomatic. According to research and statistics, the author concludes that a limited liability company represents a suitable legal form of a tour operator.
