<p><strong><em> </em></strong></p><p>Comunicarea este o dimensiune centrală a vieţii noastre culturale; fără comunicare, orice tip de cultură moare. Studiul comunicării presupune studiul culturii în care este integrată. Momentul esențial al comunicării îl constituie <em>interacțiunea dintre subiecții</em> parteneri de comunicare. Datorită schimbului de reprezentări, idei, interese, dispoziții, emoții, atitudini etc., care se produc în comunicarea pedagogică, concretă, partenerul de comunicare depășește limitele experienței proprii, ceea ce reprezintă funcția principală a comunicării pedagogice. Eficacitatea comunicării pedagogice depinde de creati­vi­tatea profesorului și implică transmiterea, intenționată sau nu, de informații destinate să lămurească sau să influențeze un individ sau un grup de indivizi receptori. În acest context vom face referire la caracteristicile definitorii ale comunicării pedagogice și la importanța acesteia în mediul universitar.</p><p class="yiv5251563583msonormal"> </p><p class="yiv5251563583msonormal"><strong>CURRENT DIMENSIONS OF PEDAGOGICAL COMMUNICATION IN UNIVERSITY SETTINGS</strong><strong></strong></p><p class="yiv5251563583msonormal">Communication is an essential dimension of our cultural life; without communication, any type of culture is threatened with extinction. The study of communication implies the study of the culture in which it is integrated. The key moment of communication is the interaction between individuals perceived as communication partners. Due to the exchange of representations, ideas, interests, dispositions, emotions, attitudes, etc., that occur in the pedagogical communication, the communication partner goes beyond the limits of his/her own experience, which represents the main function of pedagogical communication. The effectiveness of pedagogical communication depends on the teacher's creativity and involves the intentional or unintentional transmission of information intended to clarify or influence an individual or a group of individuals. Therefore, the aim of this paper is to determine the defining characteristics of pedagogical communication and its importance in the university settings. </p>
