Description
Summary:"Identification linguistics", originating from the universal phenomenon of identification, is implemented in linguopersonology and linguocriminalistics in the identification of linguistic identity and the establishment of the identity of texts. The purpose of this article is to present the development of methods for the identification of texts and linguistic identity in the direction from the intuitive way of describing the identification of objects to a more formalized one, developed in connection with the objectivity requirement for the identification conclusion. The analysis of existing methods for the identification of texts and ways of describing linguistic identity allowed us to identify and describe the opposition of specially-oriented ("sketchy") and universal (formal-quantitative) methods for the identification of texts and linguistic identity. This opposition is based on the parameters used for identification analysis, examples of which are given in this article. This work also presents a method of identifying texts of the generic type, which is implemented by applying a quantitative analysis of a word rank in different texts. Thus, the present article, firstly, gives an overview of existing methods for the identification of the texts in opposition, and, secondly, presents a method of text identification, based on the analysis of the index number (rank) of one and the same word in different texts.
