Description
Summary:The purpose of this article is to present the views of conservative opponents on state intervention in education. The author analyzed the opinions presented in the press and on websites. In the opinion of conservatives, compulsory education and centrally established and imposed programs and ideals violate the autonomy of the family – the basic educational community. They also indicated that education was used by rulers to manipulate society and to impose their own vision of the world. Conservatives are in favor of privatization of education, leading to its pluralism: the development of schools with different ideological character. This would enable parents to choose schools consistent with their outlook.<br />
