The species that have good or very good machining properties are kobari, pasang jambe, pasang beureum, mahoni daun lebar, pentadesma, cloropora, eucalyptus, meranti batu, pinus I, mahoni, mahagoni and pinus III. Species such as kelumpang, entorolobium and cecropia are consistenlly poorer.
