Hyde (Diatrypaceae, Xylariales); its known geographic distribution was then limited to Thailand. Diatrypella heveae was originally described on Hevea brasiliensis L. and Brahea armata S. Watson in the Chiang Rai Province, Wiang Chiang Rung District, Thailand.
