The goal was achieved through bibliographic research related to the data presented by the Brazilian Confederation of School Sports in 2019, as well as the theoretical framework of article 217 of the 1988 Federal Constitution, of the rules that define the National Sports Policy and the sports management. After this stage, a qualitative analysis was made of the data presented by CBDE in comparison with the guiding principles. After analyzing the results, it can be seen that CBDE presents school sports management based on the guiding principles of sports management, CF / 88 and PNE. However, it can be analyzed that the participation of students in competitions promoted by CBDE is still very low compared to the total number of students in schools and the dialogue with the municipalities still needs to be improved.https://app.periodikos.com.br/article/5fc55a410e8825745f09966c/pdf/rigd-10-3-e10019.pdfmanagementsportschoolsports development
