Description
Summary:The goal of the article is to analyze risk communication as the factor of medicine institutionalization from the viewpoint of sociology of medicine. The paradigm of scientific rationality was used as the methodological basis; methods of formal-logic, systemic approach and structural-functional analysis were also used. As the result of the conducted analysis it is determined that specificity of risk activity in modern practice of medicine refers to its multi-subjective structure. Interaction between two main subjects – a doctor and a patient, differentiating on their status and complex of their functions, has a special form of communication – risk communication. It is shown that risk-communication in medicine, which foundations are in educational process, is possible by means of combining valuable and practical approaches with a situation of moral choice and condition of organizing activities in the frame of subject-subject relationship. Usage of these approaches allows optimizing educational trajectories at undergraduate and postgraduate levels of medical staff training.
