| Summary: | Changes and advances in the technologies of information and communication (technology ICT) that occurred over the past decades have generated a growing interest for the scientific community. Precisely much of the research has focused on analysing the social impact of the Internet on children. In this article, we carry out a review of the literature related to the topic in each of the fields of science, in order to analyze the approach and studied perspective. At the same time, we analyze the habits of use and behaviors of teens on the Internet in Spain. To do this we have used data from the study "Survey on habits of use and safety of the Internet for children and young people in Spain" of the Ministry of the Interior published in June 2014.
