| Summary: | Mathnavi is of the most mysterious of mystical literary works in the world that has attracted the attention of many interested people for centuries and nobody can declare that he has approached to the depth of this of this ocean. One of these mysteries is the completion or incompletion of Mathnavi before Molavi's death. Some of the scholars believe that death, agedness or disease caused that Molavi could not complete Mathnavi, so it remained incomplete, but some others claim that Molavi completed Mathnavi a few years before his death.This article tries to survey and criticize this matter from different aspects by presenting historical, logical and mystical evidences and reasons. The results of our research - that has been done by content analysis – show that not only Molavi completed Mathnavi during his lifetime, but the edition and writing of Methnavi has been down under his own supervision. Moreover the story of Shahzadegan (The princes) is not incomplete as the story of love has neither beginning nor ending. |
