The national literature shows that the period is a milestone for the construction of the national labor ideology. From the moment that the State modified its agrarian and exportation structure to the industrial one, the changes in policies, economy and the construction of the legal narrative are fundamental to understand this historical period. Some of these narratives are revisited and confronted from an analysis of primary sources produced in the context of the National Labor Council and in the parliamentary debates in the Brazilian Constituent Assembly of 1933-34.https://periodicos.ufsm.br/revistadireito/article/view/21961direito do trabalho, era vargas, identidade de classe, ideologia trabalhista, política nacional brasileira
