En 2 familias donde aconteció un suicidio consumado la Repercusión Familiar Global fue calificada como severa, mientras que en los 32 núcleos familiares donde acaeció un intento suicida se encontró predominio de la repercusión familiar elevada en el 56,2 %. En ambos eventos psicotraumatizantes las redes de apoyo que con más frecuencia fueron utilizadas por la totalidad de las familias afectadas provinieron de las instituciones de salud y de la propia familia. El tipo de apoyo social mayoritariamente recibido fue el informativo, seguido del tipo emocional. La capacidad adaptativa de los núcleos familiares que sufrieron el intento suicida fluctuó de regular a buena, mientras que los núcleos donde se produjo un suicidio consumado exhibieron en su totalidad una mala capacidad adaptativa. Se comprobó un notable incremento de los recursos adaptativos de la familia en la medida en que fue mayor el apoyo social recibido.<br>In 2 families, where suicide was committed, the Global Family Repercussion was classified as severe,whereas in the other 32 family groups in which a suicide attempt took place, a predominance of elevated family repercussion was found in 56.2 %. In both psychotraumatizing events, the most used support networks were those from the health institutions and from the own family. The most frequent social support was the informative, followed by the emotional. The adaptative capacity of the family groups that suffered from the suicide attempt fluctuated from fair to good. All the groups with a suicide committed showed a poor adaptative capacity. A marked increase of the adaptative resources of the family was observed as the social support received was greater.
