Description
Summary:The growing trend towards the establishment of an increasing number of groups of companies imposes the need to consider the interests of individual companies to operate within a single economic whole. In order to evaluate the efficiency of operations of individual companies and the group as a single entity, comparative analysis of balance sheet indicators will be performed in this paper. The basis for the research consists of financial statements of group of companies in the Republic of Serbia from 2010-2012. The study seeks to assess the financial and business achievements of each company in the group and their contribution to efficiency of the group as a whole. The results should serve as a basis for consideration of the economic interests of business within the group of companies, but also to predict the future potential of the business and the associated risks.
