It presents the critiques according to which: folk psychology does not relate to other scientific theory; folk psychology is so singular that it has not developed since the time of the Greeks; folk psychology is passive when in certain cases it should be active; and, folk psychology is not susceptible of been treated with scientific falsification, as it must occur with scientific theories. It shows the philosophical arguments related to the falsification method, notably the ones related to epistemology. After which, the article analyses the other critiques of eliminativism against folk psychology. It shows that these critiques, taken separated, are not sufficient to determine the end of folk psychology, but it concludes that these critiques are important for the development of the extrinsic critiques, which, in addition to the former ones, can be sufficient for the success of eliminative materialism.http://www.principios.cchla.ufrn.br/19-20P-57-80.pdfEliminativismEpistemologyFalsificationismFolk Psychology
