<p>L’autore commenta la sezione monografica <em>Il patrimonio delle regine: beni del fisco e politica regia fra IX e X secolo</em>, sottolineando l’elasticità dei percorsi seguiti da ciascun autore pur nell’ambito di un questionario comune assai preciso, percorsi che consuonano pienamente con la diversità dei casi presi in esame. L’insieme delle ricerche contribuisce così, in un dialogo stretto con la storiografia contemporanea ma in egual misura con quella precedente, a chiarire l’uso consapevole ed elastico delle terre del fisco regio nei dotari delle regine e l’articolata funzione delle fondazioni monastiche in tale prospettiva.</p><br><p>The author comments the monographic section <em>The queens’ estates: fiscal properties and royal policy (9th-10th Century)</em>, highlighting the different courses which each author has followed ‒ despite a very precise set of questions common to all ‒ in compliance with the diverse cases taken under examination. Thus the ensemble of studies, in tight dialogue both with contemporaneous and earlier historiography, contributes to clarify the conscious and flexible use of fiscal lands in the dowers bestowed to the queens and, within that same perspective, the articulated function of monastic foundations.</p>
