2,4-Dichlorophenyl benzoate

The crystal structure of the title compound, C13H8Cl2O2, resembles those of 2,3-dichlorophenyl benzoate, 2,4-dimethylphenyl benzoate and other aryl benzoates, with similar bond parameters. The plane of central –C(=O)—O– group is inclined at the angle of 9.1&...

In the crystal structure there are no classical hydrogen bonds. The molecules in the structure are packed into chains diagonally in the bc plane. http://scripts.iucr.org/cgi-bin/paper?S1600536809011763
