Summary:The area of archeology at the University of Alcalá has been developing for over 5 years the use of 3D instruments for analysis, recording and archaeological study of the buildings of the university complex declared a World Heritage Site in 1998.It has its advantages and weaknesses compared to other more traditional methods, the time has allowed us to combine different methods, such as the realization of rapid orthorectification of high resolution topographic reference using total station, with optional vertical lift and CAD software.
