It seeks to show the high esteem the Salafists give him, to show the importance of his views on belief, to show his followers' extreme veneration of him as expressed in their writings. The study follows an inductive-deductive approach. Among its important findings are: Ibn-Alhanafiyya's views are consistent with the Salaf's beliefs; his views are free from Shiism; he was concerned with the extremism of the lovers of Prophet Mohammad's family; he is absolved of his associates' false claim to being the prophesied Mahdi – this was the most dangerous claim that they made and that influenced later sects. The study makes the following recommendations: the universities, the publishers and the media should seek to promote the true information about the Prophet's family, avoiding extreme veneration; they should help correct the statements of Muslim sects; and they should promote the truth about the Mahdi, as prophesied in the Hadith.https://jis.ksu.edu.sa/sites/jis.ksu.edu.sa/files/0028-02-04.pdfMohammad Ibn-Alhanafiyyah – Al-Keessaaniyyah – Shiism / Shiite – Al-Mahdy – Hadith prophecies
