Taxipertha Baraud, 1991, stat. n. raises up to genus (from the subgenus Exomala (Taxipertha)). New combinations of Taxipertha arenicola (Mulsant, Pellet, 1870) comb. n. (moved from the genus Exomala) and Taxipertha mlokosiewiczi (Zaitzev, 1917), comb. n. (moved from the genus Asiopertha) are resulted. The division of the tribe Melolonthini in subtribes Melolonthina (suitable name Melolonthidae Leach in Samouelle is used, 1819), nom. resurr. and Polyphyllina (suitable name Polyphyllidae Burmeister is used, 1855), nom. resurr is offered. Subgenus Philhelena J. Thomson, 1810, nom. resurr. (type species: Cetonia afflicta Gory, Percheron, 1833) is restored from synonyms of Netocia Costa, 1852. The position of Protaetia (Netocia) metallica volhyniensis (Gory et Percheron, 1833), stat. resurr. as a subspecies of Protaetia metallica (Herbst, 1782) (it was earlier considered to be a subspecies of Protaetia cuprea (Fabricius, 1775)) is restored.
