Description
Summary:To investigate the genotypes of Acinetobacter calcoaceticus-baumannii , 100 strains of Acinetobacter calcoaceticus-baumannii collected from a clinical setting were analyzed by random amplified polymorphic DNA (RAPD) technique. DNA Fingerprints of these strains generated were extracted by image segmentation. To obtain optimal multilevel thresholds of image segmentation, an artificial immune network for fast fuzzy clustering was used. Experimental results indicated that the RAPD fingerprints of these strains were classified into 17 described genomic species. Among them, there are two major species A with 35 strains (35.7%) and D with 22 strains (22.4%), respectively.
