| Summary: | Hand washing is critical to prevent the spread of infectious diseases at school. Bearing in mind this fact and also, research previously undertaken, a research project carried out with a view to studying Primary Education students’ hand-washing habits and their knowledge concerning microorganisms is presented below. The study is conducted by means of a questionnaire which has been specifically developed to address the previously presented issues. The conclusions of the study point out the importance of involving educational centers in order to drive hygienic habits and to strengthen the knowledge on the topic of microorganisms. |
