The research methodology provided for the use of qualitative and quantitative approaches; the experimental method is the basic one in the research; the methods of questioning and observation have been also used. The result of the research is proving the prospects and effectiveness of the introduction of complexity in the methodology of teaching world literature, forasmuch as this approach contributes to the formation of a student-centric environment in the modern educational space of Europe.
