A EXPERIÊNCIA DO CÂNCER DE MAMA: PERCEPÇÕES E SENTIMENTOS

<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpFirst" style="margin-left: 0cm; mso-add-space: auto; text-align: justify; mso-outline-level: 1;"><strong>Resumo</strong></p><p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="margin-left: 0cm; mso-add-space: auto; text-align: justify; mso-outline-level: 1; tab-stops: 7.1pt;">O câncer é uma doença de alta incidência que traz mudanças psicossociais na vida das pessoas. Com a perspectiva teórica do Interacionismo Simbólico, este estudo objetiva analisar as percepções e os sentimentos de mulheres com câncer de mama. Trata-se de um estudo qualitativo, em que foi realizado entrevistas com treze mulheres em tratamento em um município do interior paulista. Utilizou-se os pressupostos da Análise de Conteúdo para coleta, organização, análise e interpretação dos dados. Os resultados mostram que o câncer é percebido, ora como uma sentença de morte, ora com possibilidade de cura. Sentimentos como desespero, medo, incerteza, confiança e conforto surgem durante o tratamento. With the theoretical perspective of Symbolic Interactionism, this study aims to analyze the perceptions and the feelings of women with breast cancer. This is a qualitative study, in which it was conducted interviews with thirteen women who perform treatment at a city in the countryside of São Paulo State. Were used the assumptions of Content Analysis for   collection, organization, analysis and data interpretation. The results show that the cancer is perceived sometimes as a death sentence, sometimes with the possibility of cure. Feelings such as despair, fear, uncertainty, confidence and comfort arise during treatment. Este es un estudio cualitativo, en el cual fue llevado a efecto entrevistas con trece mujeres en tratamiento en un municipio del interior del Estado de São Paulo. Fue utilizado los presupuestos de la Análisis del Contenido para la recolección, organización,  análisis y la interpretación de los de datos. Los resultados muestran que el cáncer es percibido, a veces como una sentencia de muerte, a veces con la posibilidad de cura. Sentimientos como desesperación, miedo, incertidumbre, confianza y comodidad se presentan durante el tratamiento.
