Summary:This paper presents the origin and concept of the Repetition Actionwithin the debate of State’s responsibility and its agents, the scope andpurpose of the mechanism, as well as the diverse expositions about itsproblematic and little results obtained in its application. For this purpose,tools such as the diverse studies and literature on the subject, whichendorse the conclusions set out in the present state-of-the-art, havebeen reviewed. All of this, with the aim of offering a panoramic view inorder to produce deep studies that may create new knowledge to improvethe effectiveness of this legal instrument.
