The research of Da xanh pomelo value chain in Ben Tre province and Ho Chi Minh city pomelo market analyzes the present situation of the Da xanh pomelo in Ben Tre and identify, compare its business results in order to suggest policies to develop the value chain sustainably and improve the income of the actors, especially for farmers’ income. This paper employs the theory of value chain linking of GTZ with analytical framework of M4P and FAO to identify the links between actors in the value chain, cost and profit analysis, added value and economic contribution of the value chain. The result indicates that the value chain produces slightly good incomes for the actors, especially for the farmers, and the profit distribution is fair and reasonable. The survey shows that the value chain contributes considerably to Ben Tre economy and society but the most seri-ous problem of Ben Tre Da xanh pomelo is the insect matter which has not had a really effective solution and the shortage of high quality Da xanh pomelo seed.
