Summary:Biological control using natural enemies has become one of the main alternatives to chemical control. Among these enemies, worth highlighting the green lacewings, known for their predatory efficiency and the ability of their larvae to seek out food. The present review aimed to gather scientific knowledge about these predators, intending to encourage the inclusion of theses insects in future biological control programs.
